Quote

The word 'revolution' is a word for which you kill, for which you die, for which you send the labouring masses to their death, but which does not possess any content.
Simone Weil Oppression and Liberation
Lies! Revolution is both valuable and required. It is not always bloody it does not always require the death of the "labouring masses". Revolution is often the only means of significant change. See my entries here and elsewhere for my arguments for supporting bad public policy.

Sometimes the stage needs to be set for the gradual change to come. Sometimes the gradual change in progress needs to be arrested to make room for a different set.
