Write on the Sound

Last weekend I was able to attend the Write on the Sound Writer's Conference.

Timothy Egan was the keynote speaker.

Friday I was at a workshop for flash fiction facilitated by Angela Jane Fountas of Write Habit. I have always enjoyed the form and this was no exception.

I found myself on stage that night playing Ophelia's ego in Windwood Theatrical's presentation of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

Other workshops I attended were facilitated by Catherine Ann Jones, Randy Sue Coburn, Craig English, Shin Yu Pai, Mary Lou Sanelli, Joni Sensel, Frances Wood and Garth Stein.

I may toss a the results of an exercise or two here for your reading pleasure. Time will tell. There is at least one piece inspired from a workshop exercise that I will be polishing for publication elsewhere.
