I just had a nice evening at a fund raiser for the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) that was held at Dale Chihuly’s Boathouse on Lake Union. It was a nice space, glass being blown, wine to taste, people to talk with, some of those interesting, a lap pool that called my name and the stirring of powers I allow to sleep calling out to be let free as the sight of beauty seeps even into those places I leave in internal exile.

Conversation and discovery, tactile pleasure, light rain, light wind, soft hands, quiet music, and a quiet city street.

Hehe. P'ville is just outside of Austin, Tx, which isn't such a bad place to live, either.

would this shared moment impacted or touched the world differently had you described this as a "fund raiser in the mist of an amazing backdrop with artisans practicing their craft as people . . . . .

everything is a feedback loop

we all shade the conversation with our word selection

we all reveal something of ourselves in our word selection
